STATE SUPERVISION IN THE FIELD OF PROTECTION OF CONSUMERS 'RIGHTS

The task: the task facing the author of the article was to analyze the activities of public authorities in the field of ensuring the protection of consumers' rights. A special role in this sphere belongs to the body that carries out departmental control - the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare. It is the study of the powers conferred on the specified government authority in the field of consumer rights protection that makes it possible to establish the effectiveness of Rospotrebnadzor in the area under consideration. Model: methods of scientific research, such as: dialectical, formal-logical, system-structural, method of studying the effectiveness of the operation of legal norms, the use of which allowed the author to study the objects of interest to him in their interrelation, integrity, contributed to the comprehensive and objective research. Conclusions: The conducted research led to the conclusion that state supervision in the field of consumer rights is one of the directions of the general state policy, and state protection in this area is a priority form of protection. It is emphasized that the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare is the main role in the implementation of this type of state supervision. This Service realizes its authority by conducting inspections, giving recommendations, issuing orders to stop violations of consumer rights, etc. In addition, it implements the functions of state supervision in the sphere of ensuring the sanitary and epidemiological welfare of the population and in the consumer market. Value: the work can be useful for students of the Faculty of Law, especially when considering a number of topics on the course "Constitutional Law of the Russian Federation", the floor of special courses "Human Rights", "Protection of Consumer Rights", as well as in other disciplines of the educational process that affect the problems realization of the rights of citizens in the sphere of consumption of goods, works, services and the procedure for their protection.
