Abstract:
The fight against crime - a problem relevant in all times and all over the world. Currently, however, this issue is getting more serious. Scientific and technological progress, the rapid development of new technologies, especially computer and telecommunication technologies are used not only for the benefit of society. Unfortunately, increasingly, advances in science and technology are applied by the criminals and used for illegal purposes. In this context, the topic of the article is very relevant and timely. The main task of the legislator is timely regulation of the relations developing in connection with the introduction of new technologies and, accordingly, it is necessary the consolidation of the criminal and criminal procedure legislation with adequate sanctions and procedural methods related with the offences in this area. In many ways, the experience of the legislator of the Azerbaijan Republic can be useful in the development of similar provisions of the laws of other countries.
