The Dynamics of Legal Research into the Problem of Polysemy of the Concept of «Source of Law» and ways of its Solving

Background: The aim of the article is to identify the ways of systematization of approaches to understanding of the concept of “source of law”, and the ways to solve the problem of its polysemy. This research field is an extremely heterogeneous and highly controversial sphere of knowledge which covers a wide range of ideas of legal scholars about the scientific category of “source of law”. Methods: As far as research methods are concerned, the author used such methods as analysis, historical method and comparative method. It is possible (through the analysis lot the research of scholars of different schools of law) to process this field of legal knowledge qualitatively, and as a result of this research we will have a systematization of approaches of the definition of “source of law” which depends on the type of law understanding. Results: The author of the article suggests an option for the systematization, which can serve as a starting point of separate comprehensive research of this issue. It seems relevant in the light of the fact that at present the majority of authors is on the way of a bare listing of all possible interpretations of the term "source of law" without taking into account the historical, ideological, individual philosophical features of their formation.
