SOME INDIVIDUAL ASPECTS OF INTERDISCIPLINARY UNDERSTANDING OF EQUITY (JUSTICE) CATEGORY

Purpose. Experience research of the interdisciplinary understanding of equity (justice) category. Methodology. Authors were applied general - philosophical, concrete - sociological and private - legal cognition methods of the research object. Results. There are considered issues of formation and development of the category of equity, analyzed features views of the ancient Greeks and Romans on the idea of equity, examined the work of classical and contemporary philosophers, sociologists and lawyers, considered the validity of a position of honesty and equality and explored the development of the phenomenon of social (political) justice in the article. Novelty/originality/value. The article contains the author's generalizations and conclusions that have scientific novelty and directed towards the development of theoretical positions multidisciplinary estimation of equity (justice) category.
