Abstract:

The article considers one of the applied skills necessary for future specialists in the field of law and national security - is applied swimming. The peculiarity of this article is that in many Russian universities in the formation of professional and applied skills of future specialists in the field of law and national security, not given due attention to the section swimming, and its applied value. Of course, this issue is debatable, but any opponent will be enough to apply to the order of the Ministry of internal Affairs of Russia dated July 1, 2017, № 450 “on approval of the Instruction on the organization of physical training in the internal Affairs bodies of the Russian Federation”, where swimming is highlighted as a separate type of physical training and as one of the main professional and applied skills.
