Abstract:
The article analyzes the laws of Mexico regulating the sphere of electroenergetics and nuclear power, which has undergone significant changes in connection with the entry of Mexico into a North American Free Trade Agreement . Obligations of Mexico under NAFTA led to the gradual liberalization of the import and export of electricity, and thus to encourage investment in this sector, in particular from the United States, which allowed to modernize the electroenergetics sector.
