Abstract:
The article presents an overview of the II International scientific conference "Tambov legal readings Of F. N. Plevako". The conference was held in may 2018. The program of the event included a plenary session, the work of six sections "Historical and legal problems of development of the Russian state", "Theory and practice of state construction", "State policy of combating crime", "Legal regulation of property relations: ensuring the balance of private and public interests", "Actual problems of civil, arbitration, administrative process, enforcement proceedings and advocacy", "Problems in the field of national security and law and order: specifics, threats, priorities". Also, the conference program included a round table "the State, civil society and the identity of the compliance mechanism and protection of the rights of man and citizen", dedicated to 70-th anniversary of the universal Declaration of human rights organized in collaboration with the Department of theory of state and law, international and European law of the Academy of the FSIN of Russia. The review briefly highlights the substantive part of the conference program, including some issues that caused attention and discussion among the participants. In total, the conference was attended by more than 100 representatives of the leading scientific and educational centers, including more than 10 doctors of Sciences, as well as more than 20 foreign colleagues from neighboring countries. Together with representatives of legal science and education, including young scientists, the conference was attended by representatives of public authorities, both the Executive and law enforcement agencies, and the judicial system, local authorities, civil society institutions. Following the results of the conference, a collection of materials is being prepared for publication.
