Abstract:
Background: Currently there are proposals to revise the nature of securities to enlarge its essential features. In this approach the researchers see no theoretical limits to the announcement of bank cards as an independent type of the latter. A practical consequence of such conclusions will be dissemination of legal regulation of the securities at the institute of bank cards, including methods of protection of infringed rights and legitimate interests. Methodology: Comparative legal method is the basis of the research. In writing the materials used both domestic and foreign banking practice. Results: The author comes to the conclusion about different legal nature of the bank cards and securities. Conclusion: Precise and provides the basic differences of the bank cards from securities. On this basis offered its definition of the bank payment cards. Work can be interesting for researchers in the field of cashless settlements with bank cards and practical workers.
