Individual issues of social protection of persons holding public positions in the EEU countries

Background: From 1 January 2015 on the territory of several countries of the former Soviet Union to introduce new international economic organization, the Eurasian economic Union. This has raised the need for special legal research in the framework of the unification of the legal orders of magnitude of different States parties, the EEU. There is no doubt that regulations on social protection of persons holding public office, will not be an exception. At the same time, these questions have not been investigated so far, which have determined the need to study this issue. Materials and methods: in the study stated problems, the author used was developed by science and proven practice methods of theoretical and empirical studies, for example: methods of analysis, synthesis, deduction, induction, and other Results: the results of the conducted research the author came to the following conclusions: 1. In the legislation of the countries EEU there are no documents that define the fundamentals of social protection of the entire group of persons holding public office. 2. Issues of social protection of certain categories of persons holding public office, in the absence of a single document which outlines the foundations of their social security, are resolved at the level of individual normative acts regulating the legal status of certain persons holding public office (a judge, a Minister, member, President, etc). 3. The amount of social guarantees for certain categories of persons in the country is going to be different, which indicates the need to develop a single unifying form, including an indicative list of social rights, the provisions of which may be taken as the basis for the development of internal documents of the individual state party EEU. Conclusion: the resulting research findings can be used as part of an ongoing legislative work, as well as in law enforcement.
