Тhe paper proposes ways of managing the processes of formation of competitive labour force, aimed at improving the legislative and normative activities in the field of interaction between the labour market and the system of professional education, social partnership system for monitoring the competitiveness of a specialist. Special attention is paid to the modernization of the system of vocational education.
