Abstract:
The efficiency of acting of such institutions as the Prosecutor's Office and the Bar is one of the most important aspect of the realization of democratic principles in a constitutional state based on the rule of law and respect for fundamental human rights and freedoms. In the article the comparative analysis of the effectiveness of public prosecutors and lawyers in the post-soviet countries, revealed both positive and negative factors affecting their functioning. The article describes the main approaches taken in post-soviet states to such important aspects of prosecutorial and legal services, as a system of control activities and disciplinary responsibility
