Abstract:
For the period of the economic crisis in Russia 2014- 2015 many Russian listed companies lost their market value, especially companies of oil and gas sectors. However, retail companies expanded their coverage and opened new stores. Consequently, their share prices increased. Public company Magnit was among them. On the 23rd of October 2014 its stock cost 9604 roubles, ehile on the 23rd of October 2015 it cost 11264 roubles. The stock experienced 17,3% growth. In this article the profound analysis of the investment drivers of Magnit will be explained.
