Abstract:
The conservative wave as a spontaneous psychological reaction on the rapid social transformation after the collapse of Communism appeared to be the important trend in modern international political life. In Russia this phenomenon becomes the real mainstream of the current political transformation creating the basis for ideological, legal and political contra-reforms. The author analyses the social logic, typology, main features and implications of this trend regarding the possibilities to overcome it through the program of liberal modernization initiatives
