Abstract:

The article is devoted to analysis of meaning of philosophy in Ceremonial Speeches and Opening Lectures of professors of Emperor’s Moscow University. The author shows the high value by scientists of Emperor’s Moscow University in their understanding of philosophy. In this article are considered the basic points of view in definition of philosophy.
