Abstract:
The task: the criminal-executive policy, being a part of the Russian criminal policy, forms the basic directions and principles in the field of execution and serving of criminal punishment. Methodology: formal legal and comparative legal methods were used. Conclusions: The author examines the institutional issues of the criminal-executive policy, as well as certain aspects that affect it. He notes the close connection with the criminal-legal and criminal-procedural policies, their mutual influence. The author's position on the content of the notion of the criminal executive policy and its possible change at the present stage is expressed. Framework research/a possibility of the subsequent use of results of scientific work: clauses characterizing the penal policy and its subsequent change can be used in scientific research. Practical value: The proposals formulated by the author can be used in the course of further improvement of the criminal enforcement legislation and criminal policy in general. Social consequences: The article is of interest for the development of measures to further reform the criminal executive policy. Originality/value: The article is intended for investigators, scientists, specialists and a wide range of readers interested in the problems of criminal-executive policy.
