Abstract:
Criminality and criminal punishment as a social phenomenon were clearly shown in Avesta and Zoroastrism. In Avesta and Zoroastrism we often face with the norms which prohibit many wrongdoings. Under committing crimes they were punished. Categories of crimes in Avesta and Zoroastrism were defined from the object of crime, they were divided into simple and complex (objective side of crime). Besides it should be noted that kinds of crime are reflected in Avesta and Zoroastrism according to the form of guilt.
