PREVENTION OF CONFLICTS IN LAW ENFORCEMENT ACTIVITIES OF THE STATE: PROFESSIONAL ETHICS REQUIREMENTS

Objectives: The article aims to assess the professional morality norms as a factor in preventing conflicts arising in the implementation of the state law enforcement activity. Materials and methods: The study was conducted by means of analysis and synthesis, formal-legal, historical, legal, system-structural, comparative legal methods in the study of scientific works on theoretical and legal and professional-ethical issues, codes of ethics of civil servants law enforcement. Results: The estimation of the legislation and professional codes of ethics norms of the Russia law enforcement system`s structures, aimed at prevention of conflict. In the context of the topic is characterized by a conflict of interests in activities of public officials, the punitive orientation of the namesake of the Institute in the modern Russian legislation and law enforcement practice is marked. Professional ethics requirements represented a significant factor in conflict prevention in the law enforcement activities of the state as designed to remove the psychological tension in communicative processes, to focus on the conscientious performance of professional functions, thereby offsetting differences within the team and in relations with the public, other authorities and civil society institutions. The assimilation values and the content of the professional morality norms is an important guarantee of maintaining the personal reputation of law enforcement officers, ensure the credibility of a particular law enforcement institution and the law enforcement system of the state in general. Conclusion: The article may be of interest to students, faculty, researchers, researching the problems of professional ethics, theory of law, law enforcement.
