Abstract:
In article on the basis of the analysis of the legislation of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan, legal literature of the specified states the comparative and legal analysis of the purposes, tasks and prosecutor's office functions is carried out. The conclusion that the purposes of prosecutor's office in the Russian Federation are defined more widely, than in the Republic of Kazakhstan is drawn. They consist in creation of such mode of legality which would allow to provide rule of the Constitution and laws, and also to create the mechanism which would provide reliable protection of the rights and freedoms of the person and the citizen. In the Republic of Kazakhstan prosecutor's office in addition to those functions that it carries out in the Russian Federation, forms the state legal statistics, keeps special accounts, exercises supervision of legislation application in the sphere of legal statistics and special accounts, coordinates activities for law enforcement, a law and order and fight against crime.
