Abstract:

Objectives: The problems of establishing causal connection in road traffic crimes are continue to be actual for the theory and practice of criminal law, which necessitates a deeper and more systemic investigation of them in order to provide law enforce bodies with appropriate scientific recommendations. Methods: In preparing the article, dialectical, formal-legal, logical methods were applied, as well as methods of systemic and comparative analysis. Conclusions: The article reveals the legal significance and peculiarities of the causal connection in cases of violation of traffic rules and on this basis the ways of preventing and eliminating possible mistakes in solving this issue in law enforcement practice are indicated. Meaning: The accounted provisions can be used in judicial practice (in the qualification of road traffic crimes), as well as in scientific research on problems of causality in criminal law.
