The article deals with modern problems of preserving and strengthening human rights capacity prosecutor's office, the legal status of the Russian prosecutor's office, examples and statistical data on the implementation of surveillance activities in the prosecution of the Sverdlovsk region for the observance of constitutional rights and freedoms of man and citizen of the Russian Federation, analyzed supervisory activities of the Russian Prosecutor's Office, which reflected in the conclusions of the need to maintain and expand the powers of the prosecution of human rights orientation.
