Abstract:
The article discusses the problems of placing a suspect in a temporary detention facility in a temporary detention facility during a preliminary investigation, as well as actual issues of calculating the terms of detention for the person conducting the investigation. To write the article, methods of comparative study of legislation and literary sources were used. The author came to conclusions about the need to extend the detention period to 72 hours.
