Abstract:
Objectives: The article aims to examine the legal aspects of counter ethnic extremism among young people in the Republic of Mordovia; highlight the main legal acts in the sphere of combating ethnic extremism, both at the federal and at the level of the Republic of Mordovia. Materials and methods: The study analyzed the scientific work in the field of theory of law, national policy, interethnic relations. In the article was analyzed federal and regional legislation. We used formal-legalistic and system-structural methods. Results: The article notes that ethnic extremism must be countered by a set of measures aimed at creating a positive ideological climate, preventing replication of extremist views and ideologies, education and enlightenment of the population, especially young people, with an emphasis on cultural diversity and spiritual unity of the multinational people of Russia. Conclusion: The article can be useful to students, faculty, researchers, exploring issues of national policy, interethnic relations and countering extremism.
