Abstract:
The article examines some aspects of the interpretation of the concept of “investment” through the prism of the concepts of “property”, “intellectual property”, “capital” etc. on the example of domestic and foreign doctrine and legislation of China, including the 2015 Chinese draft Law “On foreign investment”. It is concluded that being “capital” - accumulated and unused for consumption part and income for a certain period of production activity and newly invested in production - concept of “investment” is based on both economic and legal concept of ownership.
