Abstract:

This article discusses the features of approaches to the development of legal literacy and legal awareness of cadets of higher military schools. The authors identified a number of problems that would improve the efficiency of legal literacy and legal awareness of students of higher military schools. Initial. Due to objective and subjective reasons, the legal motivational sphere of cadets in their activities, both in off-duty and in the service, in the future service has not been studied. The need for such a broad scientific study is ripe. Second. This study will determine the "initial conditions", which will form the basis of the curriculum, in General, and the curriculum and the content of teaching materials on the specified training course, the formation of cadets ' competencies in the field of legal literacy and legal consciousness. Third. Sociological research and educational work should be considered as one of the components in unity with other systemic measures of educational impact. Fourth. Within the framework of the educational process in the military educational institution, it is possible to provide such forms of legal education and legal information as optional classes, round tables, law clubs (for example, consumer protection, the system of public procurement for the needs of the Armed Forces, anti-corruption activities, etc.).
