Automation of control and supervisory activities: theory and practice

Background: The modern development of socio-economic processes has brought with it the trend of widespread introduction of information technologies aimed at automating a variety of activities. On the one hand, legal activities in General are not an exception, on the other hand, control and Supervisory functions of the state and the entire system of public administration. These circumstances determine the study of theoretical and practical aspects of automation of control and Supervisory activities, as well as the analysis of established today and planned in the near future, the rules governing information processes in the field of control and supervision. Materials and methods: The task proved the use of various research methods, both General scientific and special. As a special scientific methods, the study was facilitated by the formal legal method, which allowed to identify issues that require development in the regulatory legal regulation. Conclusion: The prospects of normative expansion and consolidation of the powers of the Executive authorities with the simultaneous or subsequent emergence of new administrative procedures, regulated in special acts, instead of excessive and inappropriate to new forms of information interaction in the system of public administration. Legislative changes should follow in the areas of information, protection of the rights of organizations and entrepreneurs in the conduct of state control, administrative offenses.
