Abstract:
The goal of article. The article discusses the crimes against humanity and war crimes in German criminal law. Method. The comparative method used in this article enables better understanding of Russian criminal law’s rules and also determines the main direction of Russian criminal law’s development. Results of study. The author suggests classification of crimes against humanity and highlights that this classification is based on possible punishments for such crimes. The author also analyses the crimes against humanity, distinguishes them with genocide and crimes against life. The article concerns war crimes which are classified in five groups. This classification is based on possible punishment. The originality and practical value. This article can be of interest for students, PHD-students and everybody who is interested in German criminal law.
