Modern aspects of the criminalization of acts of terrorism in the system of crimes against publik security

The article analyzes the criminal policy in Russia in the field of criminalization of acts against public security by the example of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation of 1996. Concludes that the process of criminalization occurs more active than other crimes. At the time of adoption of the Criminal Code in 1996, it provided for criminal liability for 23 crimes, on Febriary 1, 2016 already for 37. It is noted that this is a positive trend, but not all the changes are made systematically, consistent with the norms of the General part of the criminal code of the Russian Federation, well-known theoretical principles of criminal law.
