THE USE OF TECHNICAL DEVICES AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES FOR CRIMINAL PURPOSES AS A CIRCUMSTANCE AGGRAVATING THE CRIMINAL LIABILITY

In this article the issue of the use of technical devices and information technologies for criminal purposes as the circumstances, which aggravate the criminal liability. The author says that these crimes are increased social danger, as encroach on the sphere of the vital national interests of Russia, distinguished by their cynicism. The scope of using technical devices and information technologies for criminal purposes covers the most part of the articles of the Criminal code, it is therefore proposed to amend the existing criminal code by establishing that the Commission of a crime with use of computer technology, information and network technologies, a circumstance aggravating the punishment.
