Abstract:
The article reveals the concept of defense in criminal proceedings; the role of a counsel for the defense in criminal proceedings; peculiarities of the defense in a criminal case by the participants for the prosecution involved in criminal proceedings: the investigator, the inquirer; prosecutor's participation in the defense in a criminal case; court and its role in realization of defense functions.
