Abstract:
In the article the problems of legal status of the Irish under the rule of the British crown. Examines the causes and origins of their legal segregation. Discusses the economic, socio-cultural, demographic and other consequences of such constraints on national and religious grounds. Examines the relationship between the possession of civil and socio-economic rights in the aspect of the legal position of Protestants and Catholics in Ireland.
