Task - to investigate contents and a ratio of data of preliminary investigation and data on security measures, and also to open problems of secret of their preservation by criminal cases production. Model/methodology - the analysis and comparative research of regulations, practice, scientific approaches of the concerning questions of preservation in secret data of preliminary investigation and data on security measures. Conclusions - in article the conclusion about insufficiently accurate legal regulation in the Code of criminal procedure of the Russian Federation of protection of data on the applied security measures and persons which are subject to the state protection is drawn. The reasons of a low indicator of solvability of the crimes provided by the Art. of Art. 311 and 320 of the criminal code of Russian Federation are considered. The complex of actions for elimination of the gaps in the criminal procedure legislation and to detection of offenses provided by the Art. of Art. 311 and 320 of the criminal code of Russian Federation is offered. Practical value - the scientific conclusions and offers formulated in article are directed to the solution of a practical problem in the sphere of safety of participants of criminal legal proceedings. Originality/value - the prepared article contains a new package of measures for ensuring saving in secret data on security measures, is intended and can be useful to investigators, investigators, and also to all who are interested in questions of safety of participants of criminal trial.
