Abstract:
Relative novelty of the agency relations between the above-mentioned subjects, lack of legal regulation of the considered agreement caused the preparation of this research. Upon investigating the issue the writings of the following authors have been studied: Veselov S.V. Kopitin D.A., McCarty F.W., etc. The present article is dedicated to the examination of the agency agreement between advertising distributor and media agent. Legal status of the subjects of the agreement is analyzed; the peculiarities of the form, subject matter and rights and obligations of the parties are detected. The civil provisions dedicated to separate issues related to the agreement are examined and business practice on example of documentation of the leading Russian media agent is illustrated. The suggestions to improve the civil legislation in part of amending article 1005 of the Russian Civil Code and the Federal Law «On advertising» are made.
