Abstract:
The article raises and analyzes the problems of the use of special technical means in the production of inspection of the scene. The authors point to the modern achievements and development of the complex of technical means, as well as its direct application in the investigation of a criminal case. The article discusses some procedural aspects of the use of technical means in the course of the inspection of the scene. In addition, the article analyzes the problematic aspects of the procedural registration of this investigative action from the standpoint of the legal assessment of the admissibility of evidence obtained during its production. The use of technical means in the examination of the scene, according to the authors, will lead to the expansion of the range of evidentiary information, which in turn will allow to transfer the mode of preliminary investigation to a higher quality level and as a consequence, to increase the detection of crimes.
