Abstract:
The aim of the work is to identify the problems of creation of norms on criminal responsibility for attacks upon internationally protected persons or institutions and to formulate the ways of increase of efficiency of fight these crimes. The article does not just contain the separate legislative changes, but the necessity to change fundamentally the nature of the legislative descriptions of the relevant criminal prohibitions. Separate issues of criminal-legal counteraction to the international terrorism are considered in the works of S. Cayci, A. McDonald, D. A. Mundis, M. Schmitt and others. The conclusion that the proposed legislative changes will increase the effectiveness of the fight against attacks on persons and institutions which have special status under international law is being made. The obtained results can be used in scientific researches as well as in legislative process. The article is addressed to students, post-graduate students of higher educational institutions, teachers and all those interested in issues of international criminal law.
