Abstract:
The article is dedicated to the specificity of speech in trial. Particular emphasis is laid on skills and abilities of trial lawyers. The novelty of the article is that court proceeding has been considered in the speech context. Main requirements to court speakers are pointed out. The current interest of the article is that frequent mistakes in court speech has been analyzed. Great attention is drawn to typical mistakes in lawyer’s speech. The practical importance of the article is that participants in trial will enhance their role in passing a proper judgment. The theoretical research value is that it may be used in court practice.
