Abstract:
There is no universal approach to the status of the regional Ombudsman for children in the system of state authorities in the Russian Federation constituent territories today. The study reveals the differences in the constitutional and legal status of the ombudsmen for children provided for by the regional legislation. The article substantiates high efficiency of the regional Ombudsman for children both in the executive system and in a single system of the Ombudsmen for Children responsible to the Ombudsman for children under the President of the Russian Federation
