Category «term» in the legislation about the supply on the market of thermal energy

Background: today accepted and new legislation about energy in terms of market regulation of electric and thermal energy, as well as in the supply of water and provision of sanitation services. At the same time updated the legal regulation of relations in the sphere of contractual regulation of thermal energy. In this connection there was a necessity of research questions associated with the terms in the analyzed economic segment. Despite this, so far these issues have not been investigated, and determined the need for recourse to the analysis of the stated problem. Materials and methods: in the study of the category of «term» in the legislation about energy supply for thermal power market, the author used different research methods, such as historical, systemic and structural, as well as other methods of theoretical and empirical research. Results: the results of the conducted research the author came to the following conclusions: 1) the law on heat supply uses the category of «time» as applied to construction of the Treaty itself, and to its specific conditions, for example, the price (rate); 2) state regulation of pricing in the definition of the term tariff validity combines public and private began; 3) duration of the contract not only can act itself as a contractual conditions (i.e. conditions to be agreed in the agreement), but also to be a factor that affects the formation of other contractual terms. Conclusion: the resulting research findings can be used as part of an ongoing legislative work, as well as in the activities of government bodies and bodies of local self-government.
