Challenge: In article the analysis of legislatively forbidden types of operations on the stock exchange by means of which the manipulation is carried out by the market is made, namely certain schemes of a manipulation by the market by means of such operations are shown. Model: Difficulties and problems in criminal prosecution, investigation by law enforcement agencies of the criminal cases connected with a manipulation in the financial market. Aspiration to a k vyrabotka of new illegal schemes of a manipulation financial market. Conclusions (results): Harm from manipulation with the prices on securities market is reduced to the following main aspects: to participants of the market false information therefore incorrect idea of a condition of the market can be created, also to participants is provided, and also property harm can be done to the state and causing damage to image of securities market is directly possible. Originality/value: this work is intended for the persons dealing with issues in the sphere of the financial market
