Abstract:
In article considers the main causes of the spread of terrorism. Analyzes the works of scientists in this field, P.A. Kabanov, E.G. Samovicheva, V.V. Ivashchenko, B.A. Raizberg, S. Huntington and others. Focuses on the fact that today the greatest danger posed by terrorism, based on a pseudo religious ideology. Different approaches to understanding the causes of terrorism, as well as various factors specified. It is pointed out that the most common cause of terrorism, as in other matters, and other organized crime are the processes of globalization, as well as identifies the main problems associated with this. Plays an important role and modern information space, being one of the causes of the growing influence of terrorism as a form of struggle in the modern world
