Abstract:
This article discusses the characteristics of judicial organization and the court system the Arab Caliphate. The author analyzes the Quran, which is the first source of Islamic law, as well as the doctrines of the major schools (madhhab). In conclusion the author comes up with a suggestion to use some of the rules of Arab Caliphate in the modern judicial systems.
