Abstract:
Task - The main problem facing specialists who are planning the launch vehicle prices, is to achieve maximum accuracy in the forecast under the time resources limitation. In this sense, definition of a reasonable level of objects decomposition is actual. Model - statistics were collected on the technical and economic performance of family of carrier rockets «Ariane» during solving this problem. Based on these data, the optimal level of the object decomposition was obtained. Conclusions - to plan the price, the optimal level of decomposition will be the fifth level of rocket carrier structuring (the division into structure, engines and control system of rocket units) since further disaggregation will be followed by an unacceptable increase in the complexity of information-gathering. Framework research/possibility of the subsequent use of results of scientific work - It is applicable in practice to plan the development management of domestic space transportation systems. Originality/value - This work is directed for decision-makers concerning about development trends of space transport systems
