Abstract:

Problem: The article is devoted to the review of the statutory regulation of the international factoring agreement. The preparation of this research was caused by the decision of the Russian Government to accede to the UNIDROIT Convention on International Factoring and the alteration of the existing domestic legislature on the matter. During the research works of Lazareva T., Ovseyko C., Prihodko A.A., Ferrari F. and others were analyzed. Model: The article contains analysis of the UNIDROIT Convention on International Factoring, specific rules of its application are studied. The civil provisions dedicated to separate issues related to the agreement are examined. The article also contains analysis of the provisions of the draft on the acceding of the UNIDROIT Convention on International Factoring. Conclusion: The author makes conclusion on the necessity of the inclusion of the draft norms into domestic legislation of the Russian Federation, which will expedite and increase extent of factoring operations.
