Modification of the early common law influenced by equity law in England

The article examines the reasons of the modification of the early common law and the creation of the trust in England in the Middle Ages; the article also analyzes the status of tenant of land according to the XIII century common law rules and examines the restrictions and encumbrances of the tenant’s rights.
