Abstract:
The article is dedicated to types of linguistic expert examination in jurisprudence. The article is aimed at classifying of the linguistic expert examination in jurisprudence. The purpose and results of the expert examination depending on its type are considered in the work. The current interest of the article is that linguistic expert examination may be a crucial factor in judicial procedural outcomes. The purpose of carrying out of the linguistic expert examination is specified in the article that is the definition of conformity (discrepancy) in oral and written expressions with rules of law. Attention is drawn to functions of linguistic expert examination in order to identify the covert information in oral and written texts. The novelty of the article is that the linguistic expert examination is considered as process-regulated research of an oral or written text. The theoretical significance of the work is justified with the classification of the linguistic expert examination, depending on its types. The materials of the article may be practically used by specialists in the juridical linguistics sphere.
