Abstract:
The article analyzes the peculiarities of the reproduction of human capital in modern Russia under the conditions of the crisis; Changes of the role of human capital in a post-industrial society. Approaches to the definition of human capital by W. Petty, H. Becker, T. Schulz, and others are considered. Methodology. The author used general sociological, concrete sociological and statistical methods of investigation. Practical significance / social consequences. The article has undoubted practical value, since it justifies the leading role of the state in the process of formation and development of human capital, especially in the conditions of falling incomes and low resource availability of the majority of the population of modern Russia. Originality / value of the article consists in analyzing and interpreting a significant amount of sociological and statistical data on the standard of living and the quality of the human capital of the population in Russia. The article contains authorial generalizations and conclusions related to the specificity of the reproduction of human capital at the present stage, in particular, the increasing role of non-economic factors associated with the increase of social inequality and hierarchical access to diverse resources. The article is intended for students, undergraduates, post-graduate students, teachers of sociology of public administration studying sociology, management sociology and social policy.
