Abstract:
In the article the essence of political alienation , the possible causes of this trend on the background of acute international situation when relations between Russia and the United States , including Western countries , very tense . The study was based on the official statistics, expert judgment , given the views and opinions of different thinkers. According to the results of this work have been identified the causes of political alienation, namely the absence of specific levers of power; distrust of the government; alienation as a result of recognition of their own passivity; strengthening of authoritarian - bureaucratic regime; unstable socio - economic situation. Also, measures have been proposed to prevent the alienation of the political trends that suggest stabilization mechanism of political socialization and inclusion of the population in the political life of the country. The most important step in solving this problem is to increase the confidence in the government. And therefore, its efficiency.
