Abstract:
The author of the article analyzes the development and institutionalization of a modern civil society. Considering the different points of view of researchers, the author reveals the essence and nature of civil society. In a civil society, in contrast to the state structures are not dominated by vertical (subordination) and horizontal communication - the relationship of competition and solidarity between legally free and equal partners.
