Abstract:
The paper proposes an existentialist analysis of the ideas of classical humanism, its shortcomings and, on the basis of the works of Heidegger and Sartre, it offers a theoretical restructuring of humanism in line with existential philosophy. Methodology: a Comprehensive study of the available literature and sources, historical and philosophical reconstruction, comparative analysis, system approach, allowing to introduce dependence is understanding the ideas of humanism from the theoretical prerequisites for promoting its thinkers. Conclusion: Classical humanism, proclaiming the Supreme value of human personality, provides a theoretical opportunity for manipulation and even abuse that person. Existentialist version of humanism avoids the theoretical flaws that open the door to these possibilities. Practical value: the paper offers a theoretical framework allowing to deal with the rhetoric justifying violence in the name of it is «good». Social consequences: political and ethical-philosophical discourse. Originality, value: the novelty of the research lies in the fact that in Russian literature there are practically no works devoted specifically to the theoretical reconstruction of humanism in its existential reading.
