Abstract:
The article reveals the problems of formation of international organizations as one of the most important mechanisms of international cooperation in donation and transplantology. The author has elaborated a new classification of the international organizations dealing with donation and transplantology. The article highlights the issue of current absence of international intergovernmental organization specializing solely on donation and transplantology. The article considers historical and legal aspects of establishing of international cooperation in donation and transplantology. The article will be useful upon elaboration of issues connected with establishment of international organizations and legal regulation of donation and transplantology, as well as upon preparation of lectures and teaching materials regarding international public and medical law.
