Abstract:
The challenge is to identify the most urgent and important problems of Russian federalism and to find ways to overcome them. Conclusions: Based on their analysis of the problems of Russian federalism and taking into account the historical features of the Russian Federation, we believe that the model of a modern federalism must comply with such features as a strong central power, symmetry, administrative and territorial structural organization of the Russian Federation. Practical value: the findings presented in this article will enhance theoretical and practical views on the organization of Russian federalism, in connection with which it is assumed that they may have some value to the science of constitutional law. Value: article is intended for researchers, teachers, students, post-graduate law schools, judicial community, as well as anyone interested in the problems of Russian federalism.
